    @stevetork That’s why you have a clutch and not be an idiot, if you feel it going over push in the clutch….no one dies. Tractor tread only grips going forward and he had a piece of equipment behind him which would be the case nearly every time since that’s what a tractor is for.

  • dmpwa:

    @stevetork except they clearly have the front tied down to something…otherwise, good info. :)

    Is this Fordson a Dexta?

  • creborn:

    @stevetork

    I agree with your assessment, but care to notice that the guys in the vid have a cable attached to the front end of the tractor.. so it can’t flip…

  • ToFlatOut:

    ah,foreign country style

  • errorserver3000:

    @stevetork I made your 100′th like :)

  • farmerricho:

    for the stupid people commenting on the front cable…..lol
    the cable was used @ the front because it was been pulled out @ the same time,most likely from another tractor……lol
    thumbs up if your a stupid americanT

  • Ar85naud:

    @stevetork Depends. If you have a tool on the three-point hitch that is long,you can do this without great risks,if you do not have a tool on the three-point,NEVER do this!
    This is also right for tractor tugs of war,because the tool will hit the ground and prevent the tractor from flipping.

  • midgetBIL:

    @stevetork i notice there are some cable/chain that anchor the front end to prevent it from lifting.

  • catothewiser:

    @stevetork – good tip!

  • TheHuntr93:

    my buddy just got his tractor stuck last night tryin to get his truck out. might have to try this. definitely not going forward tho. i dont like when the wheels lift off the ground

  • bluemarlin314:

    Homer Simpson did the same thing with THE BOOT in NYC. :)

  • ssmarilyn:

    I think they have a cable attached to the front of the tractor to keep the nose down.

  • 6x47:

    @stevetork Great idea! I wonder If I could apply it without ripping the fenders off my truck?

    I agree with the above warning in the case of an old style farm tractor but this tractor has been modified for skidding timber so the boom and structure would eliminate the danger warned of and then there is the protective cage over the driver.

  • countryboy77351:

    You wont flip it over if your senseable and cover the clutch at all times, frotn end comes to high, mash the clutch, down ya go.

  • stevemic:

    @stevetork you can see they had a cable connected to the front axle so it would not flip over

  • magprob:

    Would this be against the rules at a mud bog event?

  • 318Captain:

    @stevetork If you watch, they have cables on the front end.

  • Cohonees:

    I can’t believe I live In that country….I thought It was Russia!!!

  • onecuwldood:

    @stevetork , It looks like they do have some sort of cable to hold the tractor from flipping over backward. I’m with markd3925, great idea! There are times in the past I wish I’d thought of something like this.
